TECHNICAL GRANT APPLICATION - WEB3 Game Rocket - TIER 1

APPLICATION INTRODUCTION

Our goal is to create a simple game for all users, marketplace of items and earnings system. We already have a community in eastern Europe and Southeast Asia

The basic idea is that we sell rockets at the launch of the game, and you move around the planets. Every time you can buy fuel tanks, the flight range depends on it. Also, at each stop - in our case, this is a planet, buy your own gas station, and receive income from it. Users can sell and buy fuel, rockets, tanks

Initially, the application will be released in web format, that is, the game in the browser, but we want to release a version on ElectronJS. We also want to draw tokens to attract new users and attention to the ecosystem

Budget

The project is requesting $4000 USD for the year 2023. The application will be completed in March 2023

The justification is as follows:

• $4000 USD for the full-time salary of backend developers

Current Development

Now we have UX, next month - backend and frontend

Future Plans

Adding new elements to the game, rockets, expanding the community.

Proposed Timeline

• April 2023 Marketing in Telegram groups
• May 2023 Add new items

Risks

There are currently no games on the market that require storage for sellers

Reporting

The project will let the community and committee decide how it feels Lume Web should be held accountable for its efforts.

Hi, I still have a few questions.

1. You mentioned that you had the UX ready. Can you provide a link, please?
2. You did not mention whether your code would be open-source or not.
3. In the Risks section you mentioned that there was no competition on the market, but you did not identify the risks.

Right now, there is less than 5 hours left until the next Grant Committee meeting. It would be great if you could provide the answers by then.

The committee reviewed your proposal and unfortunately did not approve your grant. We’re open to re-considering, but the proposal would need significant work. Your comments mention Sia, but the body of the proposal itself does not. And still, from the comments, it’s not clear exactly how Sia will be integrated.

We would need more justification for your budget and a more detailed breakdown of your timeline and development goals. Understanding more about your team and any links to previous projects would be helpful to understand their skillset.

A lack of risk identification itself is not a dealbreaker, but we would like to see some consideration put into potential obstacles for the project.
