In the current DeFi landscape, traditional marketing often encourages short-term and speculative activities, leading to a transient pool of users/liquidity that moves opportunistically across protocols. However, even within this landscape, there exists a valuable subset of true DeFi enthusiasts and investors. As DeFi matures and gains wider adoption, this user segment is expected to grow substantially.
Through in-depth reporting and strategic/robust distribution, Revelo Intel aims to target this particular cohort of forward-looking and long-term-oriented users to drive the growth of Sia.
The proposed Grant will enable Revelo Intel to attract these users to Sia.
Project’s alignment with the Sia Foundation’s mission of user-owned data:
Through our in-depth reporting, both prospective and existing users will develop a better understanding and appreciation of Sia’s mission and the importance of user-owned data.
We will achieve that through different mediums of coverage.

Project Goals
While no individual activity or set of activities can guarantee the growth of a user base and volumes, our educational works and our strong user base maximize the odds.
Our initiative fosters a more engaged, knowledgeable, and committed user base for Sia. The impact of this initiative is far-reaching as it benefits existing users while also facilitating the seamless onboarding of new participants. Also, by having a reputable third party provide the tools they need to make well-informed decisions, Sia shows its own trustworthiness and credibility. This will help to both retain existing users while onboarding new ones.
We firmly believe that through this educational effort, Revelo Intel can have a significant impact on Sia. And, by supporting our grant, Sia contributes to its own continuous growth and competitive edge.
Project Timeline
The proposed grant will be for work spanning over 1 year and will be distributed as shown below. This timeline will be flexible to Sia’s needs.
- Breakdown (1x) - delivered within the first calendar month, and updated in perpetuity.
- Industry Intels (3x) - first report delivered within the third calendar month, and each subsequent report approximately 3 months thereafter (can be before or after depending on available/relevant narratives).
- Podcast (1x) - delivered within the first calendar month
- Newsletter (4x) - first newsletter delivered within the first calendar month, and each subsequent newsletter approximately 3 months thereafter (can be before or after depending on available/relevant initiatives/announcements)
- Tweets/Threads - upon every publish/release of the above.
Note that all works produced as part of this grant will be in FRONT of our paywall for all to access.
For reference, this is a traditional work and release schedule. However, we work closely with you to ensure optimal timing.

Amount Requested
To complete the proposed body of work, Revelo Intel is requesting 25,000 USD. This is a one-time payment.
The requested funding and the breakdown of the funding are derived from an in-depth understanding of the time, expertise, and team resources necessary to successfully complete the proposed deliverables. Each deliverable requires a specific allocation of skilled analysts, researchers, and content creators. Additionally, the dynamic nature of the DeFi landscape necessitates continuous monitoring, updating, and communication to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the educational materials.
Our team’s extensive experience in providing similar services across the DeFi industry allows us to accurately estimate the personnel and time investment required for each deliverable. By extrapolating the resources needed across all deliverables, we arrived at the requested funding value that would enable us to provide high-quality, consistent, and up-to-date educational content to the Sia community.
