I have an old Sia Wallet that I created in 2017. I re-installed Sia-UI on my new computer and tried to activate it using the seed and password I had saved back then. And the error I receive is that I cannot recover the wallet without it being synchronized. I deleted the SIA files in %appsata% and tried again, but i keep getting the same issue. Please advise. Thank you!
That is correct, you need to get synced first before you can recover your wallet.
If you don’t want to wait, you can use Sia Central Lite Wallet (https://wallet.siacentral.com), and there you can see your funds instantly.
