Drop in contract numbers after daemon restart

I run a host that reboots every 10 days because there is some memory leak on it. Right now I don’t know if it’s sia or something else that’s leaking.

Anyway I noticed a sudden drop in contract numbers after reboot. Like in screenshot attached. Why could that be? There is a systemd unit that runs siac stop at reboot.

That is expected behavior. Due to syncing issues, contract count can become inflated, when you restart Sia removes any “stale” contracts and recalculates financials, contract count, etc.

Thank you for answering, Nate. So nothing is lost, it’s just garbage taken out.
