I would like to see an app where you can go and stand up a database such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Neo4j, etc. on the sia network through a portal. This should not be a database written from scratch. Then this will be distributed (or replicated) to multiple hosts on the sia network. I think likely the app users of the database would have to trust the hosts similar to if you were using any other Cloud service. Therefore, maybe a rating system for the sia hosts would need implemented. Many companies are getting vendor locked into using specific database solutions and can never migrate away from them due to the cost. Also, maintaining a DR environment can be a pain and having the database automatically distributed with fail safes to replicate to another new host when one goes down would be a major improvement to how most organizations function today.
