Error message on Sia-UI load after upgrading to v1.2.1

    I upgraded to v1.2.1 but I get the error message on loading in the image: http://imgur.com/a/qNlth.

    I am not part of sia team, but I think I can share some ideas of mine.

    I ran the sia-ui under elementary os (ubuntu based OS) without root privilege, and things were working ok. Somehow, I tried once with root privilege and went back to run sia-ui without root. I just got the exact screen shot as you did.

    However, I figured out how to fix it by deleting the "concensus.db" and re-sync, the error goes away.

    I do understand it takes forever to sync, so I recommend you to download "concensus.db" from this post and it will shorten your syncing time.

    Update:
    By the way, I think you also can try to change the owner/group of consensus.db

    for instance, my consensus.db is located at ~/.config/Sia-UI/sia/consensus
    type this in your terminal
    sudo chown -R user:group ~/.config/Sia-UI

    Thanks for replying. Deleting and resyncing the consensus.db file seemed to do the trick. And thank you for the download tip - could save me a few days of syncing in the future.
