i should have not deposited my siacoin in polo now what will i do? :(
-
@acpr I don't know how to do.I am very disappointed. You can ask the polo support to handle this issue. But the ticket will be responsed at least a half month.
-
Im having the same issue! I wish I had read this forum before I made the transfer. The SC aren't even showing up on the blockchain!
-
Anyone's SC is back? or ticket get a responde?please share the news with us.we are in worry.
-
No coins back yet either - I've been waiting for 10 days now with nothing from Polo
-
how about in bittrex is it ok to deposit sc?
-
@acpr Bittrex is perfectly fine for SC
-
still same problem. Had the problem on May 18, submitted ticket on May 19. Went to trollbox and ask for response. Still no response until now.
-
Has anyone seen or received an offical word from POLO that the SC wallet has been fixed. When a MOD in the Trollbox was asked today- they had no comment. I wouldn't assume POLONIEX has magically dropped all other tickets and"fixed" the SC wallet and not said anything about it.
If I was in this position (I am not), but if I was I would wait until some official word of the wallet being repaired has been made.. or if you "think" it has been fixed (without confirmation).. try to move a small amount of coin after performing the checks made earlier. This at least reduces any exposure to the issue.

I received a response today to my ticket on Polo that the issue was resolved and the transaction was complete.
Nope. The transaction is not visible on the blockchain and the coins aren't in my wallet.
Then I tried to transfer the rest of my Siacoin to my wallet and got an error message with no access to my coins. WTF? I am worried about this Poloniex company.
-
Maybe they are doing with your account.keep a ticket every day.until it solved
-
@Quintree So what was the issue they resolved?
-
@moorsc0de The issue was Lost Transfer of Siacoin from Poloniex. The email I got from them says resolved and completed, but as I said, I don't have the coins in my wallet, and the transfer is not on Sia Explorer.
-
@moorsc0de no it`s still not resolved did a transfer yesterday and the transaction did not appear in the block chain or in my cold wallet.
Made a support ticket and now waiting for a reply from them
-
@freggel As suspected. POLO has created a mess.
-
@moorsc0de yup and how fucking bastards... now i can buy new coins on bittrex lucky for me the price get up that high for the same ammount of coins

I am in the same situation with my Sia wallet on Poloniex. On May, 21st I deposited some BTC to Poloniex. All went pretty well. When my BTC arrived in de BTC wallet on Poloniex, I exchanged them to SiaCoin the same day. All OK by then.
After a few days the SC wallet was set to "Temporarily Disabled" (just like my Bytecoin wallet) and I couldn't deposit or withdraw anymore. At that time (May, 23th), over a week ago now, the SC wallet was active, I quickly tried to withdraw SC to my wallet at Bittrex where SiaCoin just was created. I've copied wallet addresses and all looked fine on Poloniex side. But even after a day the transaction was still in Pending state at Poloniex. I filed a support ticket at Poloniex where I still have no reply on to at all.
In the pending state I've cancelled the withdrawel, and the wallet went back to "Temporarily Disabled". When two days ago (Jun, 2nd) the wallet was active, I quickly started a new withdrawel. I've entered my SC wallet address from Bittrex and within an hour the withdrawel was marked as Complete at Poloniex. Finally?
But now (Jun, 4th), there are no coins received at Bittrex, I can't find any transaction on the Sia Explorer, but my Poloniex withdrawel still says Completed. Therefor I updated my support ticket at Poloniex, hoping all of my SiaCoins will not be vanished...

i am waiting for Poloniex response since ... 15 days, this is some kind of joke...

So I am not sure if I Interpret this right but if so, the new code basically prevents new occurrences though possibly at the cost of delay to the previous users affected during the influx of traffic. Anyway Polo still sucks for having tickets in queue for over 14 days with no private or public comms and leaving the only way for their customers to find updates is from the dev of the coin which only paints half the picture. https://www.reddit.com/r/siacoin/comments/6er35v/what_we_are_doing_about_poloniex_withdrawals/
