After upgrade to 1.2.1 all file downloads fail

  • Hi,

I'm new to sia (linux, headless) and have it running since a few weeks. Today I've upgrade to 1.2.1 and tried afterwards to download some files with no success.

Could not download file: download failed: insufficient hosts to recover file

OK. I think that sia have to reconnect to the hosts where I have uploaded the files to. If I compare the hosts listed at renter contracts with the hosts I have active connections to (gateway list) I see none of them as active connections. I've waited a few hours an retried with the same result. Is this expected? Shouldn't sia try to reconnect? And why tells me renter -v that all my files are available with a redundancy of 3.00?

Now I've tried to use gateway connect <CONTRACT HOST>:9982 to connect some hosts.

Could not add peer: failed to read remote version: EOF

Ah. Ok port 9982 is the wrong. Retry with with port 9981 results (sometimes) to Added * to peer list.

Now I've much more peers connected, but still insufficient hosts to recover file.

Some ideas, how to fix it?

  • Update: I've tried to increase the allowance and get a long list of errors.

Could not set allowance: could not form any contracts:
xx.xx.xx.xx:9982: wallet has coins spent in incomplete transactions - not enough remaining coins
xx.xx.xx.xx:9982: wallet has coins spent in incomplete transactions - not enough remaining coins
            ...

What does this mean? I've enough unlocked coins and also the renter has unspent funds?

    Renter info:
            Storage Spending: 109.4 SC
            Upload Spending: 5.017 SC
            Download Spending: 1.016 SC
            Unspent Funds: 1.15 KS
            Total Allocated: 1.265 KS
