Is creating a new seed password possible?

I downloaded the siacoin wallet and a seed popped up but I didn't save it anywhere because I didn't have time and thought I could do it later,since other wallets allow you to create a new seed etc.The problem is I can't open the wallet without the seed & reinstalling the wallet doesn't help.I am not worried because I didn't have any funds on the wallet but now it seems I will have to keep sia coin in an online exchage instead.Is it possible to recover this ?

It is not possible to recover the seed if you didn't write it down. You'll have to delete your wallet and make a new one.

@brwainer But how do I create a new wallet on windows?I tried reinstalling it etc didn't work it still asks for the seed.

This is a common problem and we are working to fix it. Soon, you will be able to overwrite your existing wallet with a new one, without leaving the UI. But for now, the only solution is to manually delete the wallet folder. Navigate to your Sia directory and delete the folder marked
wallet. Your Sia directory is located here:Linux:
$HOME/.config/Sia-UI/sia
Windows:%APPDATA%\Sia-UI\sia
Mac / OS X:$HOME/Library/Application Support/Sia-UI/sia(this Library folder may be hidden; pressing ALT while clicking on top Go menu, so that Library appears in the list)
