Sia coins are not deposited to offline wallet

    I bought 479,780 Sia coins.

    I have sent 1000 Sc to my offline wallet on 2017-02-25 via poloniex. but it did't appear in my offline wallet (Sia-UI-v1.1.0-win32-x64) . I want to store my 479,780 SC safely so what should i do ?

    are there any suggestions to secure my sia coins for long time?

    Is your wallet synchronized with the network? Your coins will only show up if your wallet is completely in sync and unlocked.

    If your wallet is not synchronized the funds will appear once it's done synchronizing

    it shows synchronizing ! and 0 Sc balance !

    how long will it be taken to receive my 1000 SC ?

    current height of blocks 95456. maybe that gives you a hint when done.

    When your wallet is done it will show the green text "Synchronized" in the top right corner of the window. Then your funds will appear in the wallet.

    Until then you will have to keep your wallet open, it does not synchronize while closed.

    Your wallet will stay synchronized. A block (the Height number) is generated every ten minutes. So if you close the client for one hour you will need to synchronize 6 blocks. But if you install the wallet for the first time it needs to synchronize all blocks since Sia was created.

    I'm in the exact same problem. I transferred siacoins from poloniex like a week ago and it has not yet appeared in my mike wallet. It says it's synchronized and it's all green clean machine. How do I proceed to troubleshoot this?

    Same problem, synced but no coins. I will report the issue on github. Are you using windows?

    Hi,

    To check if you really received coins, open http://explore.sia.tech and type your address and you should see a positive balance, if you don't have balance on this page, it means nobody sent you coins or it is pending confirmation.
