    Hi there, mining and SIA beginner here.. so hopefully not a too stupid question.
    I been mining all weekend using the gominer. I started the SIA UI, I created a wallet, and started mining. The gominer tells me I have a hashrate of 4800MH/S (4*980TI) and I am aware that it might take 24h to receive the coins. but after 24h I still have no coins received though.

    My guess is I wasnt lucky enough to mine a block? Do I need to mine longer?

    Did it say that you found a block? your hashrate is less than 0.1% of the hashrate of the network, so you can expect to find a block one or two times per month.

    https://explore.sia.tech to see more stats. The current hashrate is 29,000 GH/s, and you are mining at about 5 GH/s. So you can expect to find a block once every six weeks on average. But sometimes you will find a block after only 1-2 weeks, and sometimes you will go as much as 20 weeks (!) without finding any blocks.

    You probably want to join a mining pool.
