Sia Extension for Gnome Shell

gnome-shell-sia is an extension for the GNOME desktop (v3+). Its main feature is to automatically upload files to the Sia network that are dropped in the ~/Sia folder. In this respect, it is similar to Dropbox. Additionally, the extension features some basic wallet functions, such as displaying the wallet balance and pending transactions in Gnome's top-bar.

This extension requires that the Sia daemon (siad) is running and that a storage allowance has already been set, either through the graphical wallet or on command line. You must be running Sia version 1.0.1 or more recent.

Comments and feature requests are welcome. I intend for the extension to complement the graphical wallet, not replace. Thus, features will focus on file synchronization and upload. Planned features are:

• versioning (currently not possible)
• automatic on-demand storage purchasing
• compatibility with the Cinnamon desktop
