error when calling /wallet/unlock: provided encryption key is incorrect

    hi,

    I get this message.
    running sia on ubuntu.
    i copy/paste the seed password and get this message.
    2 days earlier it worked but now get this message.
    error when calling /wallet/unlock: provided encryption key is incorrect
    any idea how to fix this?

    tried the command wallet load seed. but it asks for 2 seeds only have 1.
    maybe making a new account/seed and loading the old seed in the new one.with the command.

    but how to make a new seed?
    i don't want to delete all files so I must download whole the block chain again.
    and don't see a option in th UI for creating a new seed?
    do i need to delete files in the wallet folder for making a new seed?
    any help?

    tried downloading sia again extracting it on different location and opening it without removing the old one.
    but it still has the blockchain on it and the defect locked wallet.so i guess it stores the blockchain and wallet one a other adress in ubuntu then the folder where the UI is in but where?

    think i better wait for an answer before i do something stupid and lose all my coins or need to download the whole blockchain again.
    so any suggestions?

    Issue is fixed.

    How i did it on Ubuntu for if someone else has this problem in the future:

    Open files.

    Enable show hidden files in View

    Press Home (folder)
    Press .config
    Press sia-ui
    Now Delete the wallet folder (only if you know your seed ,this is the place where your seed is stored in my case the file was corrupted so I removed it)

    Reboot Ubuntu.apparently this information is stored in RAM so it needs a reboot for sia UI to not find the seed to generate a new one.

    Open sia it makes you a new wallet.
    Press terminal.type in the command :

    Wallet load seed

    Now it asks for your new seed
    Next it asks for the Old seed you want to add to your new seed balance.

    For some reason sia only sees the coins if you Exit it and restart it

    It worked for me got my coins Back.
    Hope this Will Help others in the future.

    a wallet is already downloaded I typed the seed to check my coins
    and is already 3 hours .. this version of the 1.3.1 portfolio is not practical or takes even to update the portfolio balance
