Taking forever to upload files

    Hi, I just purchased 100GB and tried to upload a folder full of songs, size approx. 2GB, but it is just taking forever, I noticed in my router's statistics that it sometimes upload, and most of the time just stays there doing nothing. Is this normal at this point of time for SIA or is it something only happening to me? And is there any way to cancel the uploads? TIA.

    I think it is normal for a 2GB file for now. The devs are working on speeding the uploading for the next release. You probably are not able to cancel it with current version. You can wait and it will get uploaded eventually.

    @tobo Its been over 7hours and not even 100MB has been uploaded. By the way how does the GUI keeps track of files which are selected for upload? Does it keeps the records in a registry or any sort of files? If I can just delete that, the I guess I can just get rid of it. It must store those strings somewhere.

    It took me roughly same amount time to load 100 MB. It is slow. But devs have found a way to dramatically improve it in the next release. I don't have answers for the rest of your questions. Maybe someone can jump in.

    I noticed that my node lately has been dropping hosts in its hostdb when running for a long time. Could you run hostdb in the Terminal plugin and let us know how many active hosts you have?
