Can sia handle marketplace for digital goods?

    Hello guys, I would like to know where are current limitations of this technology. Let's say I would like to use it as decentralized storage for marketplace. Users can upload their product and it will be stored in decentralized manner. Then somebody buy it and he'll get access to it.
    What are the advantages/disadvantages in using this technology?

    Sia works now. You can rent some space to upload and download your files on Sia. You can also be a host to store files for the renters to make some siacoins. currently the single file size you can upload is limited to 5GB. But in the next release it is planned to expand to 20GB and eventually will be 1TB+.

    Sharing was a feature of Sia, but support for it has been temporarily dropped until (as I understand from the devs) a secure solution is found so that downloaders pay for bandwidth (and not the uploader). So, for now, there is no sharing in Sia.
