Transaction pool too large or can't send the SC
-
Hi,
I need help with the Sia wallet-UI. I have been able to send SC outside that wallet few weeks ago, but I am not able to do it now.
I am receiving error messages as follow (three screenshots I took):

Please help!
Thanks

I'm having the same issue. apparently i tried to send 200k siacoin but failed. then it just stucked at "wallet has coin spent on incomplete transaction, not enough remaining coin.
is the siad.exe updated? I'm still using the old one. except the main client upgraded to 1.0.4

It you go to the 'About' page on the GUI it'll show you the version of Sia that you are running. You should upgrade if it's lower than 'v1.0.4' as of this post.
For the 'not enough remaining coins' error, you should be able to fix this by waiting a few blocks and then restarting the client. For the 'transaction is too large for this transactionpool' error, try reducing the amount that you are sending by around 10%. If that fails, try reducing it to half.
The reasons that this is happening are somewhat complex, but basically the wallet has a pretty naive algorithm for constructing transactions, and can occasionally construct illegal transactions on accident. This is far more likely to happen if you are sending close to 100% of your balance.
We have an upcoming update which will fix this. It's been delayed a bit because we've decided to prioritize upload speed and file health, but the substantial wallet improvements should be coming in v1.1.0 or v1.2.0 - slated for early Jan. and late Feb. respectively.

Hello, Taek!
I have been searching for the solution ofthis problem in change logs for releases, but didn't find anything. Is this problem solved in the current release?
Thanks a lot.

Hi @DeadheaD, this problem has been fixed as of a recent version. Upgrade to the most recent release, give it a few blocks to orient itself, and you should be able to spend all of your coins at once.

Thank you, @Taek !
