Running multiple instances of Sia
-
I probably would run multiple instances of Sia under the same user on the same machine. Is it ok? Is there any caveats I should know about? Except of changing siad port which is obvious.

Why would you want to do that? In general, Sia takes a ton of resources, and I wouldn't do that unless you've got 8GB+ of RAM. Otherwise, you also need to make sure that each instance of
siadis pointing to a different directory, or they'll corrupt each other.

To be able to simultaneously use different wallets not mixing their coins and contents at the same time.

ok. In a pinch, it'll be fine as long each the port numbers are different, and the folders are different.
Long term, I think it makes sense to add the concept of 'identities' to the wallet and renter, such that one person could have multiple non-overlapping identities in each. But, that's definitely pretty far in the future (unless someone wants to volunteer their time to write the code :))
