Hello Everyone!
I'm new to SIA and I've read all the docs. I have 500GB that I'm offering for rental. What's a realistic price? I want to help but I don't want to get screwed.

Hey, welcome! We're glad to have you here.
You can check the prices of what other hosts are offering using the command line tool
siac. For example if I run./siac hostdbit will give me this list (removed IP addresses for privacy):
Active hosts:
149 SC / GB / Mo
0 SC / GB / Mo
2 SC / GB / Mo
186 SC / GB / Mo
319 SC / GB / Mo
499 SC / GB / Mo
99 SC / GB / Mo
10 SC / GB / Mo
209 SC / GB / Mo
0 SC / GB / Mo
6 SC / GB / Mo
74 SC / GB / Mo
299 SC / GB / Mo
199 SC / GB / Mo
99 SC / GB / Mo
199 SC / GB / Mo
4 SC / GB / Mo
234 SC / GB / Mo
4 SC / GB / Mo
2 SC / GB / Mo
110 SC / GB / Mo
12 SC / GB / Mo
499 SC / GB / Mo
24 SC / GB / Mo
488 SC / GB / Mo
10 SC / GB / Mo
65 SC / GB / MoNow, if you want to receive a steady stream of hosting contracts I'd go sit right on the average price of the 20 cheapest hosts. That way the Sia client of people that are uploading will consider you an option.
Currently there are quite a few "charity hosts" out there that offer storage for next to nothing, but those will fill up really quickly, so I'd go with about 200 SC/GB

based on the information provided I've tried to "tweak" my settings. But I' getting the message:
transaction set needs more miner fees to be accepted
So what do I need to do now?
I have 51 contracts already BTW

You don't need to reannounce for the price changes to get received by the network. It may take a few hours though for everyone to see the changes.
