Sia-UI just stays at "Loading SIA"

After moving my entire installation to a new computer, the SIA-UI will not load correctly and just keeps writing "Loading SIA"

I am running windows and guess that SIA-UI just can't figure out to connect to siad/siac.

The process for moving the installation was to copy the entire directory including datafolder using same drive and directory names to the new machine (But on windows symbolic links are not copied)

I have started

         siad

using an administrator prompt, and the result is (Drive-letter removed due to security):

So my installation looks ok, and seems to be running fine.

So it might be something with the datadirectory, so I have change the start of the SIA-UI to

\Sia-UI-win32-x64\Sia-UI.exe --sia-directory="\Sia-UI-win32-x64\resources\app\Sia"

But that gave me the same result

So any ideas would be welcome

How long did you let Sia-UI display the loading screen before quiting? If it's rescanning the consensus set it could take a while (~10-15minutes)... You might be able to fix the problem by letting it sit there a while.

It isn't a bad idea to launch Sia-UI and run the siac consensus command in a command prompt. By default the two will know how to talk to each other, and it would be a good way to be sure that the UI is launching siad correctly.
