ever changing wallet address ... is this normal?

I have not received my withdrawals from poloniex . My concern is the changing of wallet address every once in a while without user intervention/confirmation.

Is your local Sia wallet fully synchronized? On the Overview page, which block# does is currently state? It should be 28,607 or higher.
Don't worry about the changing wallet addresses. Your wallet in fact has many addresses, and it is advisable to always generate a new one for each transfer. Unless you delete your wallet and start from scratch then all your past addresses will always be valid addresses to receive funds on.
You can also lookup the transfer at http://explore.sia.tech. Just copy/paste the address funds were sent to into the "Search by hash" field. If nothing shows up, Poloniex never sent the funds in the first place.

my block height got stuck at 22780. what will I do ?

I would try to shutdown Sia-UI. Make sure you stop siad as well, with
siac stopin the command line. Then start the UI again.
