    Ok guys this is my first attempt to mine anything i'm just preping myself.

    Step 1. Download Sia UI(v1.0.1)
    Step 2. Unlock Wallter Save the Seed and Password

    Step 3(my step 3) Go to Nanoo pool . Download Gominer

    Open start.bat with Text. Set in My Adress (Sia UI->Wallet->Receive Siacoin -> Copy displayed adress)

    So this
    gominer.exe -I 28 -H sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980 -Q "address=YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS&worker=YOUR_WORKER_NAME&email=YOUR_EMAIL"

    Will Look like this
    gominer.exe -I 28 -H sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980 -Q "address=4d49cb73ba5a57c9309b43b484a1760c3f1e5dfa1fbeca66592df57e71ef4daa53dffaeefa00&worker=Worker1&[email protected]"

    Don`t forget to set wallet, worker and email address to correct values. *Dont know what that means

    So assuming I Let it mine for X amount of time that means after some time i will get reward and Siacoins will appear in my wallet that I created?

    *I'm just preping myself because I like the Idea and maybe I will invest money for hardware assuming I will figure everything out about the mining procces, Coin receiving etc.

    Anyways, if you want to filter our your email, you should have done it in both screenshots.

    The reason you see so many fetched works is because nanopool does not adjust difficulty based on worker speed.

    Even though I'm affiliated with Siamining.com, I would still suggest PPS over PPLNS for infrequent mining (typical of a laptop) and the fact Siamining.com does variable difficulty work.

    You set it correctly. however you are not going to see a payout from Nanopool for a very long time. Your current hashrate means 223 sia per 24 hours of mining. Nanopool's mininmum payout is 5000 Sia. It's going to take you ~23 days of nonstop mining to see a payout. (Siamining is a bit lower, at 2k minimum payout.)

    One thing though, is if you let your laptop mine 24 hours a day, you would generate $0.15 USD of Sia. Considering the wear and tear of the laptop, and the cost to power it, it might be wiser to purchase Sia rather than mine it.

    Ye, its not my prime email that I use its my "test-register etc" so its ok :P

    Yes i was just setting it up to gain experience and I'm, glad that it took me about 20 minutes

    So the only thing that Left for me to do is just buy 10xRX480 and get to mining :D(for 24h/7 mining what would you suggest? SIA pool or?)

    1. Is it possible to set up SIA mining 4-5 Rigs and they will mine like for 2-3 months non stop? (Assuming temp, Electricity, Connection (oh How much MB SIA mining needs? ) are stable.

    Link for HDD hosting (any comments if its worhty at the moment?)

    Btw Is there a Plan for Sia Tech to produce a Miner or OS? something like ethOS (I dont own one I'm only aware of its existence) I would support it.

    I'm not a miner anymore. Just run a pool. I don't know which GPUs are best MH/watt, or cheapest $/MH.

    It's entirely possible to setup a rig to mine for months on end. These days, there are way more options. You can get a PCI splitter which means it's easier to do 6 GPUs per rig, rather than 2-4.

    Not sure what you mean by "MB SIA needs"? If you mean internet, just a few KB/s. When we had 1TH running off our pool, our outbound throughput was just about 50KB/s.

    Not sure what you mean on HDD hosting? Like wallet hosting? Or you mean hosting Sia Storage yourself?

    Sia.tech would not be the ones producing a miner OS. it's really simple to setup yourself on commodity hardware. Not much incentive at this point in time.

    As for a hosting OS, there isn't much incentive at the moment. Too many environment variables for it to be practical.

    I have more questions Regarding the pool (Nanoo at the moment) before I will move to Siapool

    I started Mining from 16:47 till 18:20

    Is the Curve correct? is this how its supposed to be?

    Calculated HASH it says 86mhs but I had 69mhs (Ignore the 34.9mhs it was in power saving mode after i moved the mouse it was again at 69)

    Is that good or bad?

    and what Fetched new work actualy means?

    is there a post somewhere where it describes how the pool works and how should one Judge the Hash reports?

    In the following Scrnshot "that seems more like it" Itshowed from the moment I mined till the moment that i Stopped an activity, But i still Dont understand since i have steady 69, why it repors-calculate 258?
