maxduration and windowsize - Unable to configure

Hello to all,

For some reason maxduration and windowsize are set up to "0 Weeks" on my sia node
I have been trying to change this with:
./siac host config maxduration 50 and ./siac host config windowsize 50

But the values remain at "cero" and do not change regardless of the values I give them.

What is the right sysntax for these commands? Why they do not respond?
What is the optimal value that they should be set to?

I have had my Sia node up for over 2 weeks now and I have not gotten a single contract.
Is this normal? I'm practically giving the storage away and still no contracts :(

I do not pretend to make any money at the beginning, but at least, I want to know that my node is configured correctly, and that I do not have to worry about it anymore.

I have looked around the forums and the docs and there is no place where the proper commands' syntax and optimal values are explained.

Hi

Maxduration and windowsize must be set in blocks. So you need to enter a larger value to see an effect. There is one block per 10 minutes, so 144 per day and 1008 per week.

A good value for maxduration is 12 weeks, 12096 blocks.
A default value for windowsize is 24 hours, 144 blocks.

I think there was a bug with the windowsize value that has been fixed in the recent release candidate for v1.0.1. If you haven't updated yet you could do that or wait for the official release of v1.0.1.

Thanks for your prompt response.

The confusion here is due to the way configuration is displayed with:
./siac host -v

It displays maxduration and windowsize as "Weeks" so you assume that metric. IMO, it should read "Blocks" instead of "weeks" to avoid confusion.

./siac host config windowsize 144
It still does not update the windowsize so I'll wait for new version to fix it.

 Currency units can be specified, e.g. 10SC; run 'siac help wallet' for details.

 Blocks are approximately 10 minutes each.
