Receive Coins, noob question

    Hello,

    I m new to all this crypto currency, i downloaded the Sia client and pressed the Receive Siacoin button and i got an address, will i always be able to receive coins there? Because after that i pressed Receive coins again and it was a new Address...

    Also can i see all the addresses that i m able to receive coins?

    I'm a noob too,

    But i think, you can receive coin on different adresses.

    when click on "receive coin" that give to you an adresse among multiple adresses.
    You can do the same thing by writing on your terminal "siac wallet adress".

    If you write "siac wallet adresses" (with an S), Sia-Ui will give to you all your possible adresses.

    I'm right or I saying bulls*** ?

    your can't see all the addresses because the sia can generate almost infinite addresses based on your public key.
    you can just use any of them to receive coin.

  • The address changing is normal; the UI generates a new address for you when you click the 'Receive' button, to discourage address reuse and encourage anonymity. You can see all your addresses by typing 'wallet addresses' in the Terminal plugin. You will always be able to receive coins at an address you generate with 'Receive Siacoin'.
