SiaMining.com - First PPS Pool - LP, VarDiff, 3% Fee

  • @EvoSteven

What else have you tried? Pretty much everyone is using the GoMiner on our pool (amd and nvidia), and they are having great success with low duplicate and invalids.

  • @xurious Nothing really. I kind of gave up after that.

Can't really mine properly. It goes well for about a minute and after that it just steadily declines.
In the cmd window I can see I am hitting ~420MH/s so I don't understand how it goes to 1 MH/s in the pool...

This is with the cudaminer. The gominer just produces a lot of invalid shares (duplicates).

Yesterday I have mined for some hours with my GTX970. I didn't see a declining hash rate in the pool stats.
Maybe I should test my 750Ti

Now I can confirm that the miner is sending fewer shares when the difficulty decreases.
    I have no clue why.
This means I don't recommend using Sia-CUDA-miner with slow cards.

  • Hi!My balance 2900 SIA,last payout more than 12 hours ago.What is happening?

  • @rugero Now its all OK!

  • Spent many hours trying to mine with you but not having much luck. Trying test system with NVIDIA, Cuda 7, 2x 750ti, ubuntu 15

cudaminer claims ~280 MH/sec/card (expected 300+ based on public info, but close enough). Your pool sees 5-10MH/sec.

gominer (from Siamining github repo) claims 184 MH/sec/card; pool sees 320 MH/sec. Will that gap get larger as I go up to 6 cards? This miner is fussy and seems to through opencl errors & crash.

Need you guys to come up with a viable solution.

  • Those of you who have problems with Sia-CUDA-miner could try the new version 4.02.
    https://github.com/KlausT/Sia-CUDA-Miner/releases
I think that I finally have found the bug and it looks like it's working better now, at least with siamining.com

  • Attention! We've added a small update to GoMiner to improve the rate of invalids some miners see. Please update as soon as possible. Links for the binaries are as follows:

    Windows: http://siamining.com/files/gominer/win64/gominer.exe

    Linux: http://siamining.com/files/gominer/linux-amd64/gominer.tar.gz

In different news, we are working on a true stratum implementation! Which will be more scalable and versatile than a 'getwork over tcp' sort of approach.

Minimum payout is 2000 sia. At the time of this writing, you only have 361 sia.

  • Was facing the similar issue, take a look at some of these solutions:

Download and install all available Windows updates
Scan your computer for viruses and malware
Find and Disable the service that causes the “svchost” high CPU usage problem
