Folders in Sia-UI

I noticed a comment about folders in Sia-UI in a GitHub PR thread. Is this a planned feature, and are there any specs yet as to how folders will be implemented? Primarily asking as I want to support recursive folders in a sync app I'm writing.

I have not thought deeply about this, but one option would be to prepend folder names to a filename, e.g.:
/home/user/test.dat

becomes

home___user___test.dat

where triple-underscore could be any combination of "unlikely" character combination.

Seems as if this would hit the wall fast on Windows though, with its 256 character filename limitation.
