restore a wallet without seed words (lost words)
-
There was a problem of the following character. Previously, the generated purse address and the received seed was recorded in the vault. The storage was damaged and the seed was lost. After reviewing the instructions previously, the command was used through the terminal: wallet load seed. Through the information in Sia Wallet Encrypted Backup Seed was reset the password. When you enter New Seed, you receive the following error: "error when calling / wallet / seed:". I ask help in solved.

You can't restore your wallet without your seed unless you have a copy of yourwallet.dband remember the password0Find me on the Official Sia Discord.

wallet.db is available, the password was reset successfully. the network is not fully synchronized. as I understand it is necessary to wait for the complete network synchronization. what further action to restore.

@neoteam
If you have your existingwallet.db, navigate to%APPDATA%\Sia-UI\sia\walletand replace thewallet.dbin it with your existing one (Completely Quit Sia-UI from the system tray icon at the bottom right before modifying anything), relaunch Sia-UI and enter your oldwallet.dbpassword and you should have access to your old wallet. You need to be fully synchronized to restore your wallet.1Find me on the Official Sia Discord.

My actions are to be without confusion. Basic I am an old Wallet files.
Now the steps are as follows:- I reserve the old version of the wallet.
- Remove the folder generate a new wallet.
- I have a new password and seed.
- Unload sia-ui.
- I replace old wallet db.
- I load and enter data from point 3 and get an old wallet.
All right?
If there is no write in more detail on the points. Synchronization is fully implemented.

I have files from version 1.1.1. This is the seed file, json wallet file. The old password is the seed of the phrase. That's why you need to restore data and access to the old wallet.

@neoteam
So if I understand correctly, you have a.jsonwallet file, which is the old version of a wallet file.I would try to find the version of Sia which switch from
.jsonfile to.dbfile from GitHub and load the.jsonfile using the old version so it will be converted to the.dbfile. Then load the.dbfile into the latest version of Sia.GitHub: https://github.com/NebulousLabs/Sia/releases (Looks like v1.2.0 or v1.2.1 would be the version that the switch happens)
