How can you see details about you contract + migrating sia-ui from laptop to desktop

  • I have 2 questions:

    (1) on my laptop I have installed SIA-ui and I have 1 active contract. This was a test case. I have 1 active contract, and 0 sc earned, and 3 sc expected.
How can I see the deatisl of this contract? Such as:

    • Term of contract ( how many weeks are done of the 13 test weeks?)
    • When is end date?
    • user now has only nothing space from de 550 GB

    (2) Can i Migrate SIA-UI INCLUDING active contract to another PC desktop>
I already installed the SIA-UI software + syncronised with blockchain + using the wallet seed of the Laptop wallet. I can see my amount of sia coins.
But he will not see the active contract. How is this possible?

Reason Why: It is easier to let the desktop ( smaller device) on than the laptop

    Hope someone can help

  • no one who can help me out?

  • Regarding #1, use the CLI to dig into the details. The FAQ should have more info about how to do that, if you haven't used the CLI before.

On #2, only the wallet information are stored on the Blockchain, i.e. how many coins you got. For the contracts, both renting and hosting, you need to copy all the local files as well, as some information is stored locally. Then you can move to another system. I've done that before, on Linux, just by copying the entire directory. Finally, if you are hosting, then make sure to copy the hoster files as well, and keep them available under the same path as on the previous system.

  • @Pilske
Yes to answer your question number 2, its fully possible and very easy.

In-fact I have done the exactly same. Initially for couple of weeks, I was running SiaUI v13.1 from a laptop having 8 GB RAM.

Later, I created multiple VMs. I move the full SiaUI from laptop to the Virtual Machine.
