siac host folder add on iscsi folder

  • Hi!
I want to add iscsi folder (mounted on windows 7 as drive z using integrated iscsi initiator utulity) but get this error:

    V:\Sia-v0.6.0-beta-windows-amd64>siac host folder add z:\sia\ 7Tb
Could not add folder: symlink z:\sia\ host\storagemanager\66aa5f97: The file or directory is not a reparse point.

How can I add iscsi mounted drives to siac?

  • I don't think the issue is iSCSI-specific.
Do you run siad as administrator (you should)? Does the folder you want to share already exist(it should)?
What filesystem do you use on that iSCSI drive?

  • Also it looks like you are using an old version of Sia. You'll want to update to the newest, better stability, improvements, etc. The upgrade process is pretty painless: http://forum.sia.tech/topic/221/sia-v1-0-upgrade-guide

  • @Veber
yes, i run siad as administrator, yes, the folder is already exist. I use NTFS file system.

  • @droghio I'll try to use a new version and report results here. Thank you

  • Thanks to all, using new version eliminated this problem!
