Sia Wallet is loccked and cant unlock and its been synchronizing for over 24hours

i have and hits me with the same message "error when calling /wallet/unlock: provided encryption key is incorrect" yet i wrote down the encrytpion key and the password was the same

By default, your password is your seed

• Check your spelling
• No spaces at the front and back of the seed
• Spaces between words

ive tried this a couple of times now s there a way i can delete the wallet and make a new one?

Hello there....I am having the same problem!!

I wrote the seed on paper and I also copy it to a note by easy copy+paste and nothing.

I already tried all possible ways of entering my password (that I presume is the seed, apart of also asking me to add my own password)......this means with spaces, with no spaces, caps on all words, no caps, only the first word and still nothing!!

Even when I try to recover with seed, it appears the same, "error when calling /wallet/unlock: provided encryption key is incorrect".

Obs: The problem only started after doing the upgrade of the wallet!!

So before I make a transfer, I checked it and it was working, but now, nothing, so this means what with the coins that I transferred?! Notice that to have a SC address to have to create a wallet and unlock it, so it was working?!

What to do if we can not recover the pass by the seed?!?!?

You can recover your wallet by following the steps here with some additional steps.

1. Follow the steps here.(You may want to copy the wallet.db to make a backup before deleting it incase something goes wrong)
2. After relaunching Sia-UI, go to thew wallet page and choose the recover from seed option.

Your seed is also your password after you recover your wallet.

Delete wallet.db

• I only have the application file and that's it!! Especially can't find the wallet.db

There are no official iOS wallet for Sia. Did you mean Mac OS? If you mean Mac OS, the path to wallet.db is $HOME/Library/Application Support/Sia-UI/sia/wallet.

Sorry, yes, I'm using Mac OS (desktop wallet). And sorry but I can not find the file you are saying!!
The zip file downloaded from sia.tech contains the application file, 2 text files and one html licence file!! No other folder or new files were added, so I really dunno what you mean, sorry!!

I'm not familiar with Mac but I am pretty sure you are looking at the wrong place, wallet.db is not stored in the zip file you extracted. The zip file only contains the program and not the data. All the sia data is stored separately in the Application Support folder in your computer.
