Can I have the same coins in 2 wallets on 2 computers?

I have made a backup of the seed phrase. What happens to the wallet on computer 1 when I use the seed phrase to install a new wallet on computer 2?

I am new to crypto so maybe this is a dumb question ..... :-)

@urpi if you can do it without any errors and you aren't hosting or renting everything should be fine.
