blockchain sync incredibly slow

    Hi,

    I installed the wallet the first time. And it is syncing for 3.5 hours now and it is at 85%.

    filesize seems to be only 5.5 GB...

    $ du -h consensus.db
    5.5G consensus.db

    Am I doing something wrong? Normally (on other cloud storages) this amount takes maximum 30 min. I use a SSD and have 1 Gbit connection.

    Where can I find infos about the project status. The client has version number 1.3 which normally tells me that it is production ready. But what I see is far away from production and mass adoption. What logic is behind versioning?
