So, about those mining pools

@xurious
That's fantastic news, even if there are setbacks, it's good to hear people with the savvy are seeing it through. thanks for the heads up.
-
As @Heliox brought up, the siad is certainly going to need some tweaking to compensate for a higher load.
I'm not sure when testing will come around, but if anyone would like throw be in the testing group, send me a PM. I will get details sorted out once we move into alpha.
-
@xurious I would like to help testing / developing a pool.
-
There are a few that are already working on one i believe..
-
Ours is ready for beta!
The problem is the miners don't support using a pool yet. Working on patching this now.
Until this is done, it doesn't matter how many pools are functional.

propose to leave a commission of 3%, I think this is the best solution! when it is off to the technical work?

Did you read the post I made here? https://forum.sia.tech/topic/252/pps-pool-in-beta-testing

Attention everyone! Great news!
We will be moving the pool to production hardware over the course of the weekend! Please expect some downtime.
We are also resetting all the statistics back to zero. Your previous shares will still be paid out!
Along with moving to production, we are going to increase the PPS fee from 3% to 5%. This is to cover the additional server costs (siad eats a lot of ram, and we unfortunately have to rent a more expensive VPS.)
After switching servers, the pool will be open to the public.

Nanopool will payout all the mined siacoins. It is an open-beta. We are planning to make first payment round in around 48 hours from start (as it takes nearly 24 hours to confirm balance)
-
@basyaru
yes, can confirm got first payment today from nanopool ;)

Im currently working on ccminer port, for the moment its compatible with suprnova "getwork stratum" and nanopool "getwork binary rpc". If interrested i can share binaries and sources against a small tip (0.05 btc). If i get enough (1 BTC) i will add the other stratum protocol and open source it.. PM me Its 33% faster than gominer and dont use cpu - nvidia only
