Mining on OSX

Is it possible to mine Sia on my old MacBook Pro (OSX 10.9.5 with old Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT)?
I just want to learn how to do this, not looking for profit, and I just want to learn about the process. If this is possible could someone point me in the direction to get it set up? Every tutorial I've found online is windows and any osx miners with Nvidia reference CUDA which isn't supported by my video card.
If anyone can help that'd be awesome.

@bryan honestly I'm not sure, that's another thing I need help with. What miner can I use on OSX with the nvidia chip I have?

@cryptobooty everything I'm reading is suggesting there isn't one. But there is a USB os to mine with at simplemining.net. Maybe that'd work.
