Discrepancies in Mh/s mine rate between marlin exe and Siamining Dashboard

  • This has likely been covered, but I am new here so hopefully, someone can provide some insight. There is a difference of around 300 MH/s between my reported mining rate in Marlin's cmd.exe to what is displayed on the Siamining dashboard, is there a reason for this?

  • In addition, if I disable overclocks, which brings the effective mine rate down by about 400 MH/s, the SiaMining dashboard reports that I am mining at pretty much the same rate. Something isn't quite adding up here.

    My setup:
    2 GTX 970's (SC + FTW models)
    Cuda_8.0.61
    Marlin
    Windows 10

  • What's your address, and what's a sample of the marlin output?

@blammas When I run marlin all of my 980s generally drop 3-400 mhs as soon as they start to heat up. But seem to make the same amount of coins give or take the 400mhs/card so I don't think it's a real problem.
