Lost 1000 SiaCoin by creating additional allowance?

So I set my allowance to 1000, and than later added 500 more.
Now only the 500 is showing up and the 1000 from the first time got lost.
Is it not possible to scale? Will you just lose whatever you where renting in the first place?
