Missing Siacoins

So yesterday I've exchanged 50 USD worth of BTC into Siacoin and sent them to my Sia-UI wallet while it was setting up and synchronizing. Which took forever. I don't know how long it actually took, I had to leave my PC running overnight. When I looked at the synchronized Sia-UI in the morning, I find that I have all of 1559,841 SC in my Sia-UI wallet. WOW... A Sia/USD calculator tells me, I should receive a little over twice that - around 3786.3198048068 to be exact. Did I actually lose over half my Siacoin just by transfering Siacoin from shapeshift to Sia-UI or by using the official Sia-UI and transfering my Siacoins into my official Sia-UI wallet?! Where is the other half of my Siacoins??

To me this seems like a question for Shapeshift, as they send you the funds.
But around 3,800 SC seems about right, depending on how much is lost in exchange costs in each step (USD->BTC, BTC->SC)

@Coin-Diver what does the transaction say was sent? "1559,841" is like $23,000 USD.

23 USD seems about right. But I sent 50 USD.
Well, fortunately this amount is nothing to get worked up about.
Still, something went wrong somewhere.
I'm just glad it wasn't a bigger amount.
