I have Seed/PW, copy/pasting but will not open wallet

it seems copy pasting my pw is failing... i've tried typing too, but same error:
wallet unlock
error when calling /wallet/unlock: provided encryption key is incorrect
i'm sure of the seed/pw, saved in several places. just straight up does not accept ?
been googling but reading through thread and the mush who's run into the problem has determined to have written it incorrectly ... ! ? who's writing this stuff down ?
stuck with thousands of coins i can't access........ pls help

@gemariano make back ups of your wallet then try top recover your seed. I think writing it down is silly also.

Probably you have misspelled one of the words.

Just had the same issue and found out that when I went to paste there was an extra space in the code. Deleted this and it stated working.
