Quick question

I am new to this, i started mining using merlin, the payout address i set in the miner was the address generated by sia when you click receive Siacoin (is this the correct way???)
after 6 hours, i realized the sia ui generates a new address everytime i click receive sia coin. will i still receive my siacoin payout on the old address it generated?

Yes. A wallet can (and will) have a lot of addresses. You can transfer coins to any of the addresses you ever have generated with your wallet. Coins received on all addresses are summed up in the wallet and the addresses itself are bound to the wallet forever and do not expire.
