How fast is file access?

In general, how fast is file access compared to Amazon s3? We would like to explore storing 2 PetaBytes in this network however file access speed is a concern.

@lforet This project in my opinion is far too young to try a petabyte. You'd risk far too many coins doing that. Even then there is only 3 petabytes on the network available. At the current speeds I'm seeing it would probably take over a month to upload a petabyte. And you'd have to factor in the file limit which I think is 20 files at a time? Though if your income is disposable I'd love to see you make the attempt. It would really boost the SIACOIN economy.
