Got 2 wallet addresses

  • Hello.
I made an address in SiaUI by typing wallet address, and ive been mining with that for a little while now. I was wondering why the balance in the wallet wasnt changing so i eventually figured out that i needed to unlock the wallet and press recieve transaction to find my own wallet address...

But is there a way to get access to the wallet address that i made and move the funds into my SiaUI wallet address

Edit: So i figured out that i have a whole bunch of addresses in the SiaUI which all work towards the same wallet.
But i still dont know how to get the SC to show up in the wallet.

  • @Stuviken from my experience i can say that.
I downloaded the miner first and tested it.
Now for this short period of time i was mining for somebody else but thats fine as it was just a 1 min test, you need to replace the address in the downloaded miner with your own.
I then created a wallet (which was new and my first) I went through the process of unlocking my new wallet and then generated a new address by clicking the receive transaction button (everytime you press this you'll be given a new address but you can reuse old ones)
I then added this address to the miner and the miner would not start.
This was because the new wallet had not fully synchronized and the new address did not exist yet.
Once i was fully synchronized the miner started working and i have been receiving my payouts ever since.

It would be good if the wallet displayed previous addresses issued, this might be something Sia will implement in the future.
