How do I track down a tx that seems to have disappeared before completion?

I sent 2000 SC to my sia wallet from Bittrex and after a while I noticed it was still unconfirmed in the sia UI (I'm running Sia UI version: v1.2.2 on Windows 10) it has now disappeared completely. I tried searching for it in sia explorer but that also came up with no results.
Bittrex shows the address, txid and shows a status of completed, however sia doesn't seem to know anything about my transaction.
Is the transfer recoverable? I'm pretty new to all of this so please let me know what information is needed to try track it down.

@skysurfer You'll need to wait for the wallet to finish syncing then wait for the next block. If it doesn't show up by then contact bittrex support. They may need to resubmit the transaction.
