@bryan what could that be?
-
@RazvanI Some sort of fee or maybe you lost internet connection for some time.

@RazvanI Not any way that I know. Hopefully they'll add a marker to fees so we know we're not getting robbed.

@bryan So basically SC is vanishing from my account and I can't do anything about it.

@RazvanI Actually per the instructions of how Sia Hosting works is... you provide available space and the renters can use that space. In return because you are in a contract- the host has a collateral amount that must back up the space they are offering. This creates the contract.
You back the space- the renter uses it and at the end of the contract the renter pays for all the space they used (thus returning your coins). However as they use more space- more SC are used in your account. The Sia Hosting Hand-guide explain this very clearly and why deductions would occur. If you do not have enough collateral to backup what your offering- your account would (IMO) go to zero.800 SC is only 12.8 dollars so depending on how much you have your space valued at- this has everything to do with possible deductions of collateral from the wallet. The coins have not disappeared. they are basically collateralized for use of the space you are hosting. If your host goes down- you will lose some of the collateral.

@RazvanI
A bit dated but will help develop some understanding.

Also you can check your wallet for all recent transactions, and plug the transaction ID into the explorer at https://explore.sia.tech/ to check if it's a regular transaction or a storage (hoster/renter) related one.

Thanks a lot, guys. Will check it out.

It says File Contracts, meaning it's relating to your hosting activities. It's all good.
To understand more, check the hosting articles about the role of collateral and how you configure it to your liking.
