Help installing the SIA wallet on Ubuntu

I am using Ubuntu and having trouble understanding how to install the SIA wallet. Does anyone have the knowledge and patience to walk me through it?

Note that Sia is in alpha status at best from a solution perspective. If you can't be bothered to use Google to find installation instructions and sort out any eventual problems, then Sia is not for you yet, IMHO. You'll be better off buying a Minebox from here https://minebox.io/
