Selling Sia Coin

  • Hello

I have a couple of 1080ti's coming today.
    Looking forward to some mining.
I've also had some problems moving my coins off the exchange.
Im in Australia and the only exchange we have is coinspot.
We can't sell our coins at coinbase and others, i think the exchange needs to be in Australia for Australian customers.
My issue is, coinspot only excepts bitcoin and litecoin transfers into the exchange.
So i need to change the coins to one of these.
Shapeshif has removed Sia of the list.
So technically i would be mining and buying a coin i can't sell.
That's pretty scary, mining gear is not cheap and neither is electricity.
I want to belive in Sia, i like the idea and i want Sia to do well.
If anyone has any information on how i can change these coins, it would be greatly appreciated.

@andyg I would suggest mining and holding. If you must sell I'd send it to bittrex trade for market value bitcoin then sell the bitcoin at coinbase. Make your moves as quickly as possible so that the values don't jump around while you're transferring. Keep in mind there are fees every step of the way. You don't want to try and sell small amounts as they will get ate up as fees.

Make sure you tag me @bryan if you need to me respond.

  • I'd do the same: mine and hold. :-)

If you want to get rid of your SIAcons, you can also use shapeshift to shift it into ny other coin, that is perhaps easier to sell/trade..

  • You can sell your coins on cryptocopia.co.nz. or bittrex to BTC.

From there you can move the BTC to the exchange of your choice to convert to fiat.
