[newbie] first time mining


  • Hi,

    I'm mining Siacoin since a few days and I would like to know if my setup is ok. I run Sia-UI, save the seed and password, create a wallet, and run marlin with this payout adress on siamining.com.
    But after that I clicked on Receive Siacoin and if I understand every time it generates a new wallet. So I'm little afraid, I don't know if I mining to the right wallet. And I have to wait till 1000 SC to see the Siacoin in my wallet, so I prefer to be sure before waiting 7-8 days to mine these 1000 SC.

    Btw do you know why the seed and password are the same words ?

    one wallet in sia can have multiple recive addresses

  • Ok, I was thinking wallet and address were the same thing.
