Status information

  • Hi,

Im having trouble debugging what is wrong with my host. The Main reason is that there is no status information availible.

    Example:

To check with Siac if a wallet is unlock you have to unlock the wallet and afterwords you provided the password you get the message that your wallet has allready been unlocked.

You Should have more status information about the configs there are availible and what some of the configs are for! Help menu would be awesome or man pages, and not the -h option in siac.

    Looking forward to it!

  • Seems this went unanswered for a while, which is unfortunate.

Did you solve your problem? If not let us know again, and we'll help out.

  • Yes i figured it out.. But still its would be handy

Currently, you are limited to viewing running processes and reading the log files in case errors happen.

    Example:
To check with Siac if a wallet is unlock you have to unlock the wallet and afterwords you provided the password you get the message that your wallet has allready been unlocked.

Not true. You can issue the command siac wallet to see if wallet is locked or unlocked.

Perhaps this will improve, yes. For how, note you can do:

    siac help

for general commands, and then for instance:

    siac wallet help

for specific help on how to use the wallet.

  • Ha,

    Thanks for the reply!

Uhm, yes i figured the wallet part out yesterday.. :/

    cheers
