Confirmed transaction show confirmed balance 0?
-
I downloaded the Sia desktop wallet and sent som Sia to it. I can see the transaction showing up in the wallet and it is showing as confirmed in green. However my Confirmed total Sia balance is still at 0. I have tried to restart the wallet and it has synced to 100% but the balance is still 0.
Is this a bug? I read some other users who had this problem.
Also, if I would send the rest of my Sia to my wallet and the transactions showing up as confirmed in the wallet even though the balance would still be 0, would my Sia be safe in the wallet even if the balance does not update? I currenly have my Sia on an exchange and I want to get them out of there as soon as possible.

@elokatis I personally would not try and take coins out of the exchanges right now.

Why not? Is it because some transactions get stuck and never leave? I though they fixed Sia though on Polo?

@elokatis I dunno if they have fixed it or not. But for me it's not worth the risk. What's the difference whether it stays in polo or your own wallet. In polo you could sell it instantly.

It is a lot safer to store it in your own wallet. But considering your other post about losing 8000 coins in the wallet it does not sounds safe though and there is something seriously wrong. Have you reached out to Sia about the loss?

@elokatis I have explained it to them. But I dunno if it is priority. I've only seen to complaints of it. We're not sure whether it is actually theft or the wallets are misaligned or something. Like someone sent out coins but it left mine instead.
