cpu sia mining

Can anybody help with configuration for SIA mining on nanopool with cpuminer-multi please.
I used following line for the miner
-a sia -o sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777 -p x --coinbase-addr=my-btc-address
It does not accept SIA Coin address.
When used with BTC address it states: HTTP request failed: Empty reply from serverMany thanks

Why wouldn't you use siamining.com? Their instructions work perfectly https://siamining.com/help
-
That says nothing about CPU mining.

@shittyartist Are you sure you want to use CPU mining? It is typically 1000 times slower than even a poor GPU. If you are using the GUI, once you load the mining module it's just a matter of running
miner startin the Terminal plugin. Chances are it isn't worth the electricity though.

Well I do on the machines only capable of such. I just like to farm coins, even if small fractions.
-
@shittyartist Np, if you need help setting up the mining module see: http://forum.sia.tech/topic/1141/fixing-the-http-404-miner-error
Just skip the steps relating to the GPU miner if you don't want it.

@shittyartist sorry matey, didn't pick up the reference to cpu miner as opposed to GPU mining.

It is to adopt code for FPGA - in order to implement it - it has to work first, then it can be ported to FPGA.
