How to uninstall sia on Windows 10
-
I know this sounds stupid but as an avid XP user 10 is like Greek to me. Now I know how to uninstall programs but when I go there it's like SIA doesn't exist. No searches of the computer find it anywhere expect the intial extract folder. I'm asking because I had issues Running it and want to uninstall reinstall. I tried deleting the folder and it's contents and redownloading but now it says my wallet is locked even though I've entered my password/seed (correctly).
On another note the only way to shut it down is to kill It will task manager. Exiting and right clicking to close it on the task bar does nothing.
Once it's all working properly, should I be able to create multiple cold wallets from the same computer? I'd like to make some as gifts.
Help please!

Hi,
Install Sia:
Extract files in folder that you want, for example:
C: / Users / UserName / Documents / SiaFolder /You will see this file: Sia-UI (App). Click.
Automationally it will install Sia-UI / folder in: C: / Users / UserName / AppData / Roaming /
This folder contains your wallet, blocks, and important info.If you want to uninstall Sia you can do this:
Delete the first folder that you extracted (if you follow this example: C: / Users / UserName / Documents / SiaFolder /)Backup Sia-UI folder: C: / Users / UserName / AppData / Roaming / Sia-UI
If you only have a wallet, just need to backup your wallet's files in wallet folder.
When you have a backup, you can delete all. This files content your seed, info, blocks, etc.
When you re-install Sia, it creates new folders and files in the same directory (Roaming).
If you want to recover your info, replace your new folders / files for your backup folder / files.Sia does not appear like other programs to unninstall. Only need to delete folders.
Remember: Important data is in Roaming directory.TIP: Try to install SIA in other computer and only copy Roaming's SIA-UI folder to understand this.
This video is very simply to understand that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmWV4iJIiy4MAYBE
Maybe you will need to delete records with regedit (you need to know how it works, because this is important for your computer). Do not do that if you are not sure !!!- Write regedit in startbox windows (left, down)
- Click on Regedit
- Edit / Search.
- Search Sia-Ui
- Delete all Sia-Ui registries.
Remember: Do not use regedit if your are not sure about that. It's possible that only need to delete folders. Do not forget to backup Roaming's folders.
EDIT: I'm not a programmer but I did what i write. It works fine in my computers. I advise you to search more info about that and other answers before to do something. I put this video because for me it's easy and simply to understand. You can search more tutorials and info.
