    I searched quite a bit, but i would like a clear answer.

    How backup of the files works? I read that when i upload a file it has a copy to many hosts, so if 1-2 hosts die (hdd failure) my files are still safe? And what would take for the whole file to get lost ? how many hosts to get hdd failure?

    data is currently spread onto 30 hosts using redundancy technonology ensuring that as long as 10 or more of these 30 hosts are accessable file can be retrieved in full.

    Erasure coding think of it as super RAID.

    ok thank you for the answer, two more questions, when i make changes in the contracts for example collateral or disk space, the changes doesnt update on siapulse.com, should i re-announce ?

    And I just started my host with 1TB, if i increase it lets say to 10TB a month later (same static IP etc.) do i keep the same rating i built all this month or i start over?

    p.s one more question i just thought, is the ranking tied to the wallet seed? i mean if i change ip/pc of the host, i keep my rating?
